Medical Massage

Medical massage is outcome-based massage, primarily the application of a specific treatment targeted to the specific problem the patient presents with a diagnosis and are administered after a thorough assessment by the medical massage therapist with specific outcomes being the basis for treatment

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue.
It may also promote faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.
Sports Massage

Sports massage is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity. The application of sports massage, prior to and after exercise, may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.

Trigger Point

Trigger points are sore, painful spots—also called knots—found in muscles. These knots are sensitive and when pressure is applied, it produces pain in a different part of your body. A trigger point massage helps work out those knots and reduce the pain associated with them.

Cranial Sacral

Cranial Sacral Therapy is thought to relieve compression in the head, neck, and back. This can soothe pain and release both emotional and physical stress and tension. It’s also thought to help restore cranial mobility and ease or release restrictions of the head, neck, and nerves.

Cranial Structural

Cranial structural therapy is a cranial therapy that seeks not only a restriction-free cranial rhythm but also the elimination of soft tissue restrictions in the cranium that can create structural distortions throughout the entire structure.

Cupping

Silicone cups can help improve circulation, release fascia and relax muscles. Note: Chances are you will look like you were attacked by an octopus wherever the cups are applied.

Vibration

I only do localized vibration therapy; which is where I place a hand-held vibrating device on certain parts of your body. For example, your calf or thigh muscles. Why vibration? When the vibrations are transmitted to your body, they cause your muscles to contract and relax.

Percussion

This tool aims to reduce inflammation by flushing extracellular fluids such as lymph fluid and venous blood out of the muscle tissue and into the circulatory system. It can help relax tight muscles, break up scar tissue and adhesions, and minimize muscle soreness and tension.

Scraping

Scraping therapy is a manual form of therapy where an instrument is used to scrape over the skin and improve circulation in the area. This has been shown to aid in breaking down scar tissues that are often a result of some kind of trauma.
